England Ladies Under 17 – Euro Cup 2015 Final Report
This competition took place in Mieres, Spain from Thursday 17th until Sunday 20th December 2015.
The objective for this competition was to give international experience to our younger female players, as with exception of one player everybody else was playing for the first time at this level.
I am very pleased with the achievement as the team was getting better during the competition, improving in both fitness and tactics. This was due to the players gaining confidence and improving their competitiveness.
This competition had Nine teams (3 Spanish teams, 2 Portuguese teams, France, Switzerland and Germany U17 Teams) split into three groups. A final position above 9th place it would be a good result and we finished 8th showing the potential of England Ladies in the future.
We played a total of four games and all the players participated in each game.
