England U17’s Team ready for the European Championships
The England Under 17 Final Squad held their last training session in England on Friday 28th August.
The team will fly out to Portugal on Monday 31st August for five more days of scheduled training in Feira, which will include games every evening before moving on to Luso where they participate in the Under 17 European Championships.
The team have a had a good preparation for the European Championships having attended Christmas and Summer camps, competed in the National Division 1 League, along with trips to Feira and Final Squad training alongside the National Training Weekends.
The team will play eight games in seven days as this year’s competition is a Round Robin Tournament.
Our first game will be the opening game of the Championships.
We play against France on Sunday 6th September at 14:30 hours.
